Call For Entries Quilters, You Must Display Your Work |

Do Not Be Afraid to Exhibit Your Work. If Not You, Then Who? By O.V. How many quilt shows have you attended where you saw no African American quilters represented? Many, I am sure. How many times have you left a show thinking, “I didn’t think those quilts were all that. I can do that.” If we are not proud of our own work, how can we expect others to be? If we do not see value in our work, how can we expect others to value it? Resolve to exhibit in at least one show or contest this year. It is up to us to validate our work. I’ll be looking for your quilt. |
