Freezer paper is not new, but how we use it probably is. No longer just used for wrapping meat to put in the freezer, it has become a staple of the crafter. You can find it right on the shelf of your grocery store in the paper goods section with plastic wrap and aluminum foil. If you appliqué, freezer paper is definitely a product you cannot live without. Freezer paper can be used to make templates that can then be easily ironed onto the fabric. It can be removed and ironed on again several times. Freezer paper also comes in handy when making signature quilts. Ironing the freezer paper on the back of the signature block, makes it easier to write on the fabric. |
